Are there many cases of people divorcing within 1–2 years around you?

I thought there weren't any, but
it turns out a female colleague I thought was married has been divorced for a while now.
She divorced almost immediately after getting married.
She hadn't mentioned it, but she recently opened up about it.
Are there many cases where people divorce sooner than expected?
