I am feeling a bit skeptical about AI

I know that technology is good once you actually use it,
but seeing countries and corporations taking on debt
to invest in it as their future growth engine,
I can't help but think about how those costs will eventually fall on the end user.
I find myself wondering how much more our fixed monthly expenses will increase.
Furthermore, it seems like only the US and China are truly mastering AI,
so I feel like there will inevitably be moments or sectors where we are forced to bear those costs.
Thinking about those expenses makes me feel a bit skeptical.
While I wonder if now might be the best time to invest,
from a user's perspective, my first thought is always the cost.
