We've moved past the stage of using Jung Hoo Lee's adaptation level as a sample, right?

If we consider the first year an adaptation period,
shouldn't we say that enough data has been collected to judge his actual skill level, rather than just calling it an adaptation phase?
I feel like enough samples have accumulated to form a decent estimate of his true caliber.
