(Odyssey) How is Tom Holland's acting ability originally?

His name is so famous that I knew of his existence, but
this was my first time seeing him act in Odyssey. Because he acted so foolishly (he was compared to Robert Pattinson), my interest in Spider-Man has plummeted.
I wonder if he is usually good and was just weak in this one.
