RESCENE saw a major influx of fans during the dialect episodes

During the early days of Nayeonsu Woni and Anwonjalbu, they were only known as a single 'dot' called Wyn.
Then Minami appeared as a Japanese teacher, and from that point, they began to gain some momentum, connecting dots to form a 'line.'
On March 20th, the "Geoje Yahoo" moment in the Gyaru Special Lecture became an issue, but the impact was weak.
After the Runway comeback on April 8th, they did the Gyaru Live episode on April 9th, but the comeback results were a failure—barely staying in the Melon Top 1000 for one day before charting out.
Around early May, during a free live event, there was footage of them struggling with street promotions.
Even then, they were mentioned in the RESCENE community, but it was mostly centered around Woni and Gyaru Minami, like a small breeze in a teacup. They were frequently criticized for being "viral marketing."
They truly became widely known after the dialect episode in early May succeeded, bringing three dots together to complete a triangle. Then, with the release of Geoje Part 1 on May 22nd, interest exploded due to the fishing and ocean vibes, and after the Retweet/Met episode went viral, a three-dimensional pyramid was completed.
Crucially, amidst all this, the algorithm was conquered by fan-tube live edit videos, which people inevitably watch once they get into the group.
This faithfully filled the gaps within the lines and planes.
Of course, "Geoje Yahoo" is known as an important and symbolic trigger, but at the time, it wasn't even a major issue here, and people didn't even know about the Runway comeback.
While the Gyaru Special Lecture and Geoje Part 1 are connected, there is a two-month gap between them.
Furthermore, the subsequent Chiba and Gyeongju episodes (4 episodes including side stories)
also received good reactions and succeeded in generating continuous interest.
I think explaining this simply as the success of the "Geoje Yahoo" meme misses a lot.
What is certain is that when two or more RESCENE members meet with PD Solpa, the chemistry and synergy are quite significant.
