I'm watching RESCENE's Kcon LA travel video

I guess they really need to study some English lol. Since they've received a response domestically, it's only a matter of time before they get a response overseas. Now that they've hit the top domestically, overseas activities will be essential to reach the next level, but they can barely handle basic conversation.
Right now, it looks charming because it fits their friendly image, but it will likely become a source of stress during future overseas activities. Minami speaks some English, but even that is just "good" for a Japanese or Korean person; compared to other idols who have one or two native speakers in their group, there will clearly be limits. Since they are from a small agency where the primary goal is likely surviving domestically, the company probably couldn't focus much on foreign language training. That costs money, too. They are still young so they'll improve quickly, but for now, Minami's presence seems crucial, especially with their upcoming activities in Japan which serve as the starting point for their overseas expansion.
