Why did Dplus KIA have unpaid wages?

‌It's not like the sponsoring company is going bankrupt or anything..
Is it just because Kia is seeing losses in E-sports
and their performance hasn't been great lately,
so they're starting to pull out?
Was the contract originally just
sponsoring a certain amount (a small amount)
and putting the corporate logo on the team name?
