I believe NewJeans won't be active until 2029

From the moment the dispute with HYBE broke out, I predicted they wouldn't be active until their contracts expire in 2029.
There have been many artists who had contract disputes with their agencies like NewJeans, and almost all of them were virtually unable to promote until their contract end dates.
This isn't just a Korean phenomenon; even the legendary George Michael was unable to work for nearly 5-6 years due to disputes with his label.
Artists have such immense pride and stubbornness that it is practically impossible to narrow the gap in their differing opinions.
2026 is essentially a lost cause, and by the time 2027 rolls around and they are tentatively preparing a new album, 2027 will be over too. I believe they won't be active until their contracts end in 2029.
