Why armored cavalry soldiers in the 90s wore airborne badges

I remember that back then, armored cavalry soldiers wore green camouflage berets.
But 9 out of 10 of them were all wearing airborne badges.
I am curious if there is any reason for an armored cavalry soldier to complete airborne training.
The military police in the Capital Defense Command wearing dark navy dress uniforms were the same.
I know that Capital Defense Command military police go for commissioned airborne training, but as for the armored cavalry... I'm not so sure.
