No matter how I look at it, Tchouaméni is in the wrong position....
It's not that Tchouaméni is bad, but these days in the Premier League, teams relentlessly exploit even a single gap in the formation. It's hard enough at left wing-back, but since the work rate in the most crucial defensive midfield position isn't covering the ground, it feels like we're constantly playing 11 vs 10. Tchouaméni is a good player, but his work rate and awareness are both worse than Casemiro was last year. With the central position vacant and Schär's aging, we've spent money but nothing has improved compared to last year. No wonder the performance is a mess. It's not just the manager's fault. Whether it works or not, I want to see Baleba play, but with these constant gaps appearing, if we keep going like this, we won't make the Champions League again next year. The team's quality is lower than last year.....
