Is it because we're too comfortable with each other? (Female junior)

She is a junior one year younger than me from my workout group (competition crew), and we've known each other for a long time.
She feels almost like just a female friend..
There is some physical contact, and she even asks about sex when we talk..
When we text about working out, it feels like we are subtly on the verge of crossing the line..
