People are only making a fuss because military service is 1.5 years instead of 3

In the case of unpopular sports, if a team has a military sports unit, it's not a big loss to go that way.
Even if there's nothing like that... for example, if they serve for 1.5 years centered around years without the Olympics or Asian Games, there are many cases where they lead better active careers afterward.
Woo Sang-hyeok, South Korea's best track and field athlete since Hwang Young-cho, placed 4th in the Olympics while in the military.
The problem with the hypocrisy of baseball and soccer fans on Femco or MPark is that they act as if we should throw ourselves into the cause of unpopular sports to ensure military exemptions are handled with "fairness" and so on.
In reality, there should be more reasonable systems and reasonable benefits. It's not about helping them avoid the military; it's about re-evaluating their career and status in sports if they win a gold medal, and listening to them if they raise issues like An Se-young does.
