People Power Party lawmakers accused of blocking the execution of an arrest warrant for former President Yoon Suk-yeol by the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) denied the charges during their first trial.
On the morning of the 13th at 11:00 AM, the Seoul Central District Court's 35th Criminal Division (Presiding Judge Baek Dae-hyeon) held the first pretrial hearing for People Power Party lawmakers Na Kyung-won, Kim Gi-hyeon, Yoon Sang-hyun, and Kwon Young-jin, who were indicted on charges of obstruction of official duties.
While attendance is not mandatory for pretrial hearings, Rep. Kim appeared in court.
