It was inevitable that Greece would win the Trojan War

‌I didn't realize this because I hadn't read Greek and Roman mythology properly,
but this wasn't a war of humans; it was a war of the gods.
The goddess of war Athena and the sea/sun god Apollo's faction were on Greece's side, while the Troy side was more aligned with gods like the god of arts,
so no matter how much Achilles held his ground, it was a war that couldn't be won.
The fact that he even managed to drag it out that far was impressive.
