Goalkeepers are all about shot-stopping; I felt it once again today

I haven't seen many posts saying "I wish Kim Seung-gyu had better footwork" when Jo Hyeon-woo starts,
but I frequently see posts saying "I miss Jo Hyeon-woo's shot-stopping" when Kim Seung-gyu starts..
I believe a goalkeeper's top priority must be shot-stopping ability.
A goalkeeper doesn't build up the play alone, so trying to play organic build-up football
at the level of a national team fullback... is just about looking stylish.
Besides, Kim Seung-gyu's footwork isn't excellent enough to be tasked as a deep-lying
control tower, especially considering his declining shot-stopping ability.
