Delivery food is loaded with sugar.

‌I love kimchi stew and jjageuli-style dishes. However, there have been times when I could barely eat the ingredients before throwing it away, or I just took one bite and gave up.
Why on earth do they put so much sugar in it? It's not even about whether it tastes good or not; it's just way too sweet. It is way, way too sweet.
Is it because it's delivery food? Or is it to mask some other flavor, or is this just the current trend..
Isn't it okay if kimchi stew isn't that sweet? It's not like I'm being overly sensitive.
