Does the difference in the number of apartment units have a significant impact on value?

Assuming all other conditions are identical,
if the only difference is the number of units, such as 1,500 units vs. 500 units, would there be much of a difference, considering that 500 units isn't exactly at the level of a "single-building" apartment?
