Do people abroad know much about our Chuseok or Lunar New Year?

I am not entirely sure about people living overseas, but do people in most countries that we frequently trade with know about our Chuseok or Lunar New Year holidays, such as when these holidays occur or when the long weekends are?
I didn't realize it at first, but looking at it now, it seems like most people living abroad are somewhat aware of it..
Is there a way to find out for sure?
