Small business owners really do have a different mindset

If tomorrow is a holiday, they'll call me in the evening after I've already finished work for the day and tell me to come in because there's something to do tomorrow.
Since it was so sudden, I was caught off guard and gave a somewhat lukewarm response, just saying "okay."
But after hanging up, they started badmouthing me, saying:
"I'm the one providing the work and making sure they earn money, so how dare they?"
