But living life, I've realized that looks are truly important.
Since I was young, I was brainwashed into thinking that for men, capability is everything, but living life, I've realized that even for simple part-time jobs, it ultimately comes down to looks during the interview.
When meeting the opposite sex, if your appearance is good, people are kind to you no matter what you do. People are friendly, and this ultimately leads to an increase in self-esteem, so I guess you could say it lowers the difficulty level of life? For the record, I have never failed an interview in my life.
My current wife didn't have a car or anything saved up back then, but she liked me a lot and treats me well even after marriage.
When I went to meet my future parents-in-law at the time (they have ordinary jobs), I passed with flying colors.
Looking back, I am a case of someone who has benefited immensely from their appearance. I have thick hair and my skin isn't bad, so I am just grateful to my parents. haha
