I eat cup noodles often. I love them. Even at home, I eat cup noodles more frequently than regular ramen.
I always mix rice into the broth after eating the noodles.
The other day, while I was shoveling down my rice, it suddenly hit me: "Wait, isn't this Gukbap???"
Bean sprout soup (Kongnamul-gukbap) is Bean sprouts + Rice + Broth.
What I'm eating right now is Noodles + Rice + Broth.
Can't I just call it "Noodle Gukbap"?
So, the next time I ate it, I bought some thinly sliced pork belly, grilled two strips, and added them in.
If you take out some noodles (just leave a little bit like somyeon in Seolleongtang) and add plenty of rice, it truly becomes pork belly Gukbap.
It's seriously delicious. I gained 2kg in just 3 weeks.
From now on, it's not cup noodles, it's cup Gukbap.
