It feels like late autumn as soon as the hot summer ended

Instead of it being hot during the day and cool in the morning and evening like early autumn, it's chilly even during the day and cold in the morning and evening.. I slept with all the windows closed.. At this rate, it feels like it'll be early winter in just a month.
