Dramas were most enjoyable when I was younger

The real joy of watching dramas is different from movies—it's about empathizing with the protagonist or characters, rooting for them, and feeling a sense of vicarious satisfaction.
But as I get older, the age gap with the actors is so large that I can't connect with them anymore; they just feel like kids to me lol
Dramas set in my own age group are limited, and since the actors' performances aren't what they used to be, the enjoyment has faded.
My "all-time favorite drama" list hasn't been updated in a while.
