Has Pyo Chang-won changed his stance lately? He's criticizing the police now.

I remember when he was participating in the filibuster after the investigative powers adjustment bill was introduced in 2019; rather than reflecting on police misconduct or incompetence, he used the logic that it was the prosecution's fault because prosecutors failed to direct the investigations properly. But lately, he seems to be speaking up about police reform.
Since he can no longer engage in politics with the Democratic Party, and the People Power Party is unlikely to accept him, is he speaking without restraint because he is now better known as a criminal psychologist than as a former police officer?
