Wouldn't most people earn around 2.5 to 4 million won a month?
But honestly, it is really tough to make a living with this amount.
Some say even with an annual salary of 100 million won, life is tight, and I suppose that could be true.
Even with 100 million won, the actual monthly take-home pay is just a bit over 6 million won.
When basic living expenses alone run into the millions, you can't exactly call it plenty.
But with 2.5 to 4 million won a month, saving or investing is unimaginable.
It's a relief if you don't end up in the red.
And if you even have to make loan repayments..
That must be why our society has become so sensitive to even slight interest rate hikes.
How is it that salaries don't rise much, yet inflation keeps climbing like this?
Yet, strangely enough, it was like this before, it is like this now, and it will likely be like this in the future—
