Both Japan and South Korea are members of the IAEA, yet only Japan is permitted to reprocess nuclear fuel.
Given Japan's technological capabilities, they may be classified as a non-nuclear weapon state, but in an emergency, they could mass-produce nuclear weapons within 3 to 4 months—potentially even more than the US. (Though public opinion would likely make this impossible)
Considering this absurdity, the government must unconditionally secure permission from the US for nuclear fuel reprocessing.
This deployment is being carried out at the cost of our soldiers' lives; we must secure it no matter what.
